Nicki Minaj has finally announced the release date for her highly anticipated "Starships" video, which was shot last month in Hawaii.
She revealed that the video would be released on Monday, April 16 - although she hedged slightly, saying if not that day then definitely the day after.
"Starships" follows the video for "Beez In The Trap" and also the viral sensation "Stupid Hoe."
In the video, Minaj shows some skin on the tropical set, sporting a pink bikini with a hood and long skirt, while rapping alongside shirtless male models. "Starships" is directed by Anthony Mandler, who has worked with Rihanna, Drake, and Jay-Z.
The rap star's sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded hit store shelves on April 3 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
