Denmark's producer prices increased from last year in March, data released by Statistics Denmark showed Monday.
The price index for domestic supply increased 2.7 percent on an annual basis in March. Prices of Danish-made products gained 4.1 percent year-on-year, while prices of imported goods moved up 1.9 percent during the month.
Prices of fuel and lubricants climbed 15 percent annually, while prices of raw materials for non-agricultural industries advanced 2.9 percent. There was a 5.7 percent annual growth in prices of meat products and a 1 percent gain in prices of fish and fish products during the month.
Month-on-month, producer prices advanced 0.8 percent during the month. Output prices of domestic products rose by 1.3 percent sequentially, while prices of imported products edged up 0.5 percent.
