Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer has launched his own organic coffee brand, called Rockin' & Roastin.' The coffee blend is billed as an organic, fair traded coffee that is available in four different roasts.
According to the coffee brand's website, Rockin' & Roastin' is created from a very specific roasting process:
"[T]here are at least 15 junctures in the process which are major. That's why our roast classifications are a bit more involved than the typical Medium or Dark . . . Rockin' & Roastin's roast categorizations were developed through the experience of roasting and learning more about the chemistry of those various junctures."
Currently, there are four roasts available: Ethiopia Yirgachaffe (Dark), Ethiopia Yirgachaffe Decaf (Medium-Dark), Guatemala Huehuetenango (Dark-Medium) and Sumatra Permata Gayo (Dark). Prices range from $12.95 to $13.95 per brick and can be purchased online.
Kramer joins rockers Rob Zombie, Anthrax's Charlie Benante and Dave Mustaine and moviemaker David Lynch among the stars who have their own coffee lines.
