Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is currently developing a new action reality series called "The Hero." Johnson is executive producing the project, which will put contestants on three different continents to face mental, physical and moral challenges. The show will feature interactive fan voting that will contribute to the elimination process.
The show is in production through Johnson's Electus production company with partner Dany Garcia. According to ew.com the pair say the show will "challenge contestants with difficult moral dilemmas, incredible feats of courage, and individual leadership and sacrifice."
"The Hero will bridge the digital and physical world on the small screen in an unmatched fashion, enabling fans to determine the fate of the show's contestants entirely through social media and on-screen decision making," Johnson said in a statement.
