Flaming Lips To Headline Free NXNW Concert

Flaming Lips To Headline Free NXNW Concert

The Flaming Lips will headline Spinner Canada's free all-day NXNE concert on Saturday, June 16 in Toronto. The concert will take place in the heart of the city at Yonge-Dundas Square.

The Oklahoma band is expected to pull out all the stops for this performance by unleashing their trademark circus-like performance on concert goers.

The rest of the lineup for the free show will be announced in the coming months.

Last year's Spinner.ca NXNE free party featured the likes of Cults, Men Without Hats and the New Wave legends Devo.

This will be the 18th edition of NXNE and it will run from June 11 to 17. Over 650 artists are expected to perform in Toronto for the five-day festival, including Bad Religion, The Men, Of Montreal, Purity Ring, Raekwon and Ghostface, and Matthew Goode. Over 300,000 people are expected to attend this year's festival.
