During New York afternoon session on Monday, the Canadian currency spiked up further against major rivals. At present, the loonie is trading near new multi-day high of 1.3040 against the euro and a fresh multi-week high of 1.0226 versus the Australian dollar, which may be compared to last week's closing value of 1.3121 and 1.0300, respectively.
The loonie is currently worth 0.9913 against the US dollar and 81.91 versus the Japanese yen from previous session's lows of 0.9981 and 81.25, respectively.
