"Toy Story 3" director Lee Unkrich says that he has a new film based on the Mexican holiday celebrating the dead, provisionally titled "Dia de los Muertos." "Muertos" is set for a 2015 release.
Pixar Animation Studios also revealed two other projects at the 2012 CinemaCon in Las Vegas: an untitled venture that "takes you inside the mind," and "The Good Dinosaur."
The untitled picture will be directed by Peter Docter and was announced without further details.
"The Good Dinosaur" is set in a world where an asteroid did not hit the Earth, allowing dinosaurs to keep living and evolving. That film is slated for a May 20, 2014 release.
"We previously announced a film that was titled 'The Untitled Pixar Movie About Dinosaurs'," Walt Disney Pictures animation chief John Lasseter Lasseter said. "Now, I think this title rocks, but I am absolutely the only one at the studio. Sooooo, today we'd like to announce an even better title we've come up with for it - this is now going to be titled 'The Good Dinosaur'."
