The Killers' touring sax player Tommy Marth has died at the age of 33. The band broke the news via Twitter on Monday and band member Timothy Styles spoke on the death in his podcast revealing that the cause was "not natural causes."

"Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family. There's a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy," the band tweeted.

As well as touring with the Killers, Marth also appeared regularly with Las Vegas favorites Big Friendly Corporation.

"There's been a death in the family. A very tragic one. Essentially what has happened is Ryan Marth and Melissa Marth of the Big Friendly, their middle sibling Tommy, passed away this morning at rather a young age. I'm not going to go into details. People who know him will hear the truth about it later on. But it's not natural causes," Styles explained.
