Maximus, Inc. (MMS), provider of health and human services, said Monday that it will launch its operations in Pittsford, New York around May 15.
The company noted that it will consolidate and relocate several of its mission critical program operations currently located in Pennsylvania and Upstate New York into the new 46,000 square feet office.
It also said that it will use the Pittsford office to help deliver program services in support of its Medicare appeals work with the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The company expects to add 325 jobs in the near term followed by an additional 30 jobs over the long term
To help with the company's relocation and expansion, New York State provided the company with a package of Excelsior tax credits, which are based in the number of jobs created over the next five years.
