Foster the People have released a new video for "Houdini," the band's latest single from 2011's Torches. The video premiered this week on MTV.
"Houdini" continues the band's succession of wacky concept vids by featuring a story arc in which the band drop dead due to an accident during the video shoot. With the band lifeless, a group of special effects experts are called in to complete the videotaping by manipulating the band's bodies like puppets.
Later, the experts successfully transform the band into robots so they can make their gig at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, moving their crew to tears.
Foster the People are currently overseas, and will return to the states for the next leg of their North American tour starting on May 25.
