Ashley Bell, best known for her roles in "The Last Exorcism" and "The Day" has signed on to appear in the new romantic comedy "The Bounceback." Bell will star opposite Michael Stahl-David in the film, which centers on a couple who return to their hometown of Austin, Texas for weekend gone wrong.
The film will be directed by Bryan Poyser, who also penned the script alongside Steven Walters and David Shotwell. Sara Paxton ("Shark Night 3D") and Addison Timlin ("Californication") have also been confirmed as cast members.
Trace Sheehan and Megan Gilbride are producing and Ross Dinerstein and Kevin Iwashina of Preferred Content will serve as executive producers. Bell recently wrapped production on "The Last Exorcism II" and "The Day" opens on August 17.
