Ex-AC/DC Bassist Writes Book

Former AC/DC bassist Mark Evans has written a new book about his 3-year stint in the famous Aussie band. The book is titled Dirty Deeds: My Life Inside/Outside of AC/DC.

Evans told GuitarWorld.com that he wrote the book after he "decided to put some stories down, and it just grew from a book that was just about my time with the guys into a complete memoir, a complete autobiography."

In the book Evans discusses his relationship with the Young brothers, wild times on the road, the development of AC/DC's sound, and his unceremonious firing from the band in 1977.

"It was a shock, not necessarily so much a surprise," Evans told UltimateClassicRock.com. "Personally it was tough. I think what hit me was not so much that I was out of the band, it was the personal things, you know, that affected me."

The full story is out this month via Bazillion Points.
