The man accused of killing three members of Jennifer Hudson's family has been found guilty.
A jury in the Chicago murder trial found that William Balfour killed the singer's mother, brother and nephew. Billboard described Hudson as "visibly overcome" when the verdict was read, shaking her head with tears in her eyes. The Oscar winner testified early in the trial and was present for the other days of testimony.
The murders, which took place in October 2008, were allegedly motivated by vengeance. Balfour was married to Hudson's sister, Julia.
Balfour faces a life sentence in prison.
