Beyoncé and Angelina Jolie have been named two of the 'Most Powerful Moms' by Working Mother magazine after a poll. American businesswoman Sara Blakely tops the list while Beyoncé and Jolie place No. 4 and 5 respectively.
Conducted ahead of Mother's Day, editors compiled a top 10 list of females who are leading the way in their chosen careers, reports Contactmusic.com.
"They are just a few of the mums making a major impact right now. All of the power women on our list have at least one child 18 or younger, and all are based in the US," said Jennifer Owens, Working Mother Media's editorial director.
Author Suzanne Collins and TV anchor Ann Curry rounded out the top five. Comedian/actress Melissa McCarthy placed at No. 6 overall, while Sherilyn McCoy (CEO of Avon), Sheryl Sandberg (COO of Facebook), Mary Schapiro (Chairman, US Securities and Exchange Commission) and Katie Jacobs Stanton (head of International Strategy, Twitter) completed the Top Ten.
