HudBay Minerals Inc. (HBM,HBM.TO) said it is offering $400 million aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes due 2020. The company plans to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, development projects in Manitoba and, if Hudbay's board approves the Constancia project, the development of the Constancia project.
The notes would not be registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended, or the securities laws of any other jurisdiction.
