An Asbury Park, New Jersey craftsman has recreated the hidden image featured on the cover of Bruce Springsteen's landmark 1975 album, Born to Run.
The original image, which is featured between the neck and bridge pick-ups on the pickguard of the Boss' Fender Telecaster, is a figure standing beneath a street lamp.
Dave Petillo, the above mentioned craftsman, has reworked the image to feature it on a custom pickguard. The revised image features the same figure placed before a blue background and the words Asbury Park emblazoned at the top and New Jersey emblazoned at the bottom.
Dave's father, Phillip, who passed in 2010, created the original image.
The unique pickguard was sent to Springsteen, who begins the European leg of his Wrecking Ball tour in Barcelona, Spain on May 13.
