Bret Michaels is saying 'thank you' St. Joseph's Barrow Neurological Institute for treating him in 2010 after he suffered a brain hemorrhage.
Located in Phoenix, AZ, the renowned hospital is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and its website features a '50 Years, 50 Faces' icon with a number of high profile people who have been cared for at the hospital publicly thanking the hospital for the treatment they received.
"I want to thank all of my good friends at Barrow who saved my life," says Bret. "Without them I wouldn't be standing here today."
Patients like Michaels travel from all over the world for the special neurological expertise available at Barrow. The hospital has treated a long list of public figures including Michaels, baseball great and broadcaster Joe Garagiola, a Saudi Arabian queen and a host of professional athletes.
Michaels will be on tour this summer with his band Poison and fellow rockers Def Leppard.
