Arctic Cat Inc. (ACAT) reported a fourth quarter net loss of $0.49 per share Tuesday morning, compared to the loss of $0.52 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for a loss of $0.56. Full year 2013 EPS is expected to be between $2.40 and $2.50, which is below the consensus estimate of $2.70.
Arctic Cat gapped open sharply lower Tuesday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock closed down by 4.34 at $37.97 on the highest volume of the year. Arctic Cat dropped to over a 2-month low.
