Queen and Robert de Niro joined the cast at a performance of the We Will Rock You anniversary show on Monday, May 14. The performance marked the 10th anniversary of the musical's production.
Brian May emerged from a trap door to play the guitar solo from "Bohemian Rhapsody" during the show's finale. Drummer Roger Taylor joined May for the show's set-closer, "The Show Must Go On." And, deceased front man Freddie Mercury also appeared via video projection.
"We Will Rock You" opened at the Dominion in London on May 14, 2002, and initially attracted hostile reviews; it has however remained a staple on the West End for the past decade.
Queen will be joined by Adam Lambert for a three night stop at London's Hammersmith Apollo on July 11, 12 and 14.
