Rumors are flying that Jennifer Lopez might be departing from the judge's panel on American Idol by the time the next season rolls around.
When asked about what her feelings were regarding a third season as an Idol judge on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Lopez said: "I don't know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things."
Those other things obviously are her acting and singing careers, which her stint on American Idol have helped to revive. She is currently starring in What to Expect When You're Expecting and has two singles, "On the Floor" and "Dance with Me," on the charts.
E! Entertainment has also quoted an unnamed insider as saying that J-Lo is "just too busy" to stay on as a judge for a third season.
Lopez made similar comments after the end of her first season as a judge, but ultimately stayed on after receiving a pay raise to the tune of $20 million.
