Shawna and Keifer Thompson of Thompson Square have added a puppy, Etta, to their family. The pair named the dog after their favorite singer, Etta James.
The Thompson's tweeted pics of the black Schnauzer/Yorkie mix, which their publisher dubbed a Snorkie, which prompted several compliments from the group's mass of followers.
"She's pretty bad right now as far as . . . nipping," Shawna told TheBoot.com. "She's a biter," notes Keifer.
"She latched on Keifer's nose before we went on stage earlier," reports Shawna. Keifer is fine but remarks of the incident, "It was a real good feeling."
Thompson Square's latest single, "Glass," is currently climbing the charts as the duo makes their way across the country as the opening act for Lady Antebellum.
