The Canadian dollar erased some of its Asian session gains against its major rivals in early deals Monday.
The loonie is presently quoted at 77.68 against the yen and 1.0212 against the US dollar, down from previous highs of 78.05 and 1.0182, respectively.
Against the euro, the Canadian currency eased to 1.3048 by 6:50 am ET from 1.3010 hit early in the session.
