Emco Ltd. said it had bagged an order for Rs.161.20 crore from National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd., or NTPC, for complete power transformer package for their Mauda Super Thermal Power Project-II (2 x 660 MS) and Solapur Super Thermal Power Project (2 x 660 MW).
The package comprises supply, installation and commissioning of 35 nos. transformers of various ratings including 14 nos. 260 MVA, 420kV, 1-phase generator transformer (i.e., 3 phase bank of 78- MVA capacity) and 3 nos. 200 MVA, 400kV, 3-phase auto transformers. T
This is amongst the largest single order for this rating of Generator Transformers in India, the company said.
At the BSE, Emco shares are currently trading at Rs.26.75, up 2.49 percent from the previous close.
