Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. reported fourth-quarter stand-alone net profit of Rs.3,379.81 crore, up from Rs.2,798.04 crore for the quarter ended March 31 last year. Total income rose to Rs.19,987.85 crore from the Rs.18,589.25 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding year.
The company's Board recommended a final dividend of Rs.3.68 per equity share of Rs.2 each for the fiscal year 2012, to be paid on October 01.
At the BSE, Bharat Heavy Electricals shares are currently trading at Rs.213.25, up 2.23 percent from the previous close.
