Guess? Inc. (GES) Rebounded On Q1 Earnings News

Guess? Inc. (GES) reported first quarter EPS of $0.30 after the bell Tuesday, down from $0.46 last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.26. The company expects to report second quarter EPS of $0.48 to $0.52 and between $2.50 and $2.65 for the full year 2013. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.62 and $2.59.

Guess? gapped open higher Wednesday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock closed up by 1.59 at $26.03, with volume at over a 2-month high. Guess? rebounded from the lows of the year and set a one-week high.
