B.O.S. Better Slips To Loss In Q1

B.O.S. Better Online Solutions Ltd. (BOSC) Thursday reported a loss for the first quarter compared to a profit last year, due mainly to lower revenues.

The Israel-based RFID and Supply Chain solutions provider reported a first-quarter net loss of $306 thousand or $0.07 per share, compared to a net profit of $34 thousand or $0.01 per share last year.

Adjusted loss for the quarter was $185 thousand compared to an adjusted profit of $334 thousand in the prior-year quarter.

Total revenues for the quarter dropped to $7.05 million from $9.14 million in the prior-year quarter.

Looking ahead, the company expects an adjusted profit for fiscal 2012.
