Hank Williams Jr. has enlisted the help of country superstar Brad Paisley and country music legend Merle Haggard on his upcoming album Old School, New Rules, due out July 10.
Paisley joins Williams for the track "I'm Gonna Get Drunk and Play Hank Williams," while Haggard appears alongside Williams on a remake of "I Think I'll Just Stay Here and Drink," a number one hit for Haggard in 1981.
"I'm excited about this new album," Williams said of the effort. "I'm definitely 'Old School,' and I am making music with 'New Rules.' People know I'm gonna say exactly what I think and this album is exactly that."
The first single from the project is "That Ain't Good."
Old School, New Rules is the first album to be released on Bocephus Records, with a licensing deal with Blaster Records and distribution through Warner Music Nashville.
