Gregg Allman has confirmed that he's engaged to a 24-year-old woman. Thus far, little is known about the Allman Brother's future wife other than her name, which is Shannon Williams. Allman broke the news during a recent interview with CNN's Piers Morgan.
According to ultimateclassicrock.com, Allman mentioned the pending nuptials off camera and then got sheepish when Morgan brought it up in the interview. Morgan mentioned that she will be his seventh wife, to which Allman replied:
"That's not what she's becoming. She's becoming wife No. 1. I don't have a wife, I haven't had one for years."
"This time, I am really in love," he added, saying he only loved two of his previous wives and even those "didn't reciprocate."
