A new track from Ke$ha, which samples the 1997 Blur track "Song 2" (most recognizable by its memorable refrain "Woo Hoo"), has been leaked to the web. There has been no word on whether Blur approved the sample or whether it will appear on Ke$ha's new album.
Meanwhile, Blur has confirmed a brief run of U.K. dates this summer. Damon Albarn and company will kick off the four-date run at Margate's Winter Gardens on August 1, and the dates will include support sets from New Order and the Specials.
The run will serve as a warm-up for Blur's performance at the closing ceremony of the London Olympic Summer Games. That show will take place in Hyde Park on August 12.
Full mini-tour dates:
Margate Winter Gardens (August 1)
Wolverhampton Civic Hall (5, 6)
Plymouth Pavilions (7)
