Madonna covered Lady Gaga's hit "Born This Way" during a recent concert rehearsal in Israel. Video of the run through, which is currently circulating the web, features the Material Girl doing a mash-up of "Express Yourself" and the Mother Monster track.
Madge deftly switches back and forth between the choruses of the two tracks, effectively demonstrating the likeness between them.
Previously, on an episode of the ABC news program 20/20, Madonna slighted Gaga's track while pointing out the similarities between it and "Express Yourself." She added that she found it "amusing":
"She's a very talented artist. I certainly think she references me a lot in her work. And sometimes I think it's amusing and flattering and well done. [Her songs seem to be a] statement about taking something that was in the zeitgeist, you know, 20 years ago and turning it inside out and reinterpreting it."
Madonna's MDNA tour began on May 31.
