Aetna (AET) announced that Karen Rohan will be joining the company as executive vice president and head of Specialty Products. Rohan will report to Mark Bertolini, Aetna chairman, chief executive officer and president, and will serve on the company's Executive Committee.
In the new role, she will be responsible for the Dental and Vision, Group Insurance and Consumer Financial Solutions businesses. In addition, she will have responsibility for leading the company's distribution strategy.
Rohan joins Aetna from Magellan Health Services, where she has served as president since 2009.
