Amid the release of Canada's housing starts data for May at 8:15 am ET Friday, the loonie changed little against its major counterparts.
The loonie is now trading at 1.2897 against the euro, 76.73 against the yen, 1.0186 against the aussie and 1.0343 against the greenback.
At 8:30 am ET, Canada's trade data for April and jobs report for May are due.
