Katy Perry will be the subject of an upcoming comic book by Bluewater Comic Books. The comic is titled, Fame: Katy Perry and is part of the ongoing "Fame" series by the company that has featured such stars as Betty White, Lady Gaga and Angelina Jolie.
The graphic novel will reportedly depict Perry's upbringing as the daughter of two Christian pastors in addition to her struggles landing a record deal in Los Angeles.
Bluewater Comics past "Fame" issues have been disliked by the stars they focused on. Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber's reps even went as far as to serve the company with cease-and-desist letters concerning issues.
In addition to the comic book release, Perry's life will also be the subject of an upcoming 3-D movie, Katy Perry: Party of Me. The film is slated to be released on July 5.
