On a Born This Way Ball tour stop in Auckland, New Zealand (June 10), Lady Gaga was struck in the head by a pole wielded by one of her back-up dancers.

The Mother Monster was in the midst of a performance of "Judas" when the wayward pole struck her. Gaga was dazed but not prepared to cancel the performance she told the audience:

"I want to apologize. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don't you worry. I will finish this show."

Gaga went on to perform 16 more songs before calling it a night in Auckland.

Tara Savelo, make-up artist to Lady Gaga, would later hit Twitter to express her astonishment at the feat:

"Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay . . . cant believe she finished the show."
