Michael Kors Holdings (KORS) Climbed On Better Than Expected Q4 Results

Michael Kors Holdings (KORS) reported fourth quarter net income of $0.22 per share Tuesday morning, up from $0.10 per share in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.16. The company expects to report first quarter EPS of $0.18 to $0.20 and between $1.08 and $1.12 for the full year. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.17 and $0.98.

Michael Kors Holdings gapped open higher Tuesday, but traded in a range for the bulk of the session. Shares finished up by 2.92 at $41.10 on strong volume. The stock rose to a 2-week high and re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
