A 5.5-magnitude-earthquake shook south-eastern Turkey on Thursday morning damaging a mosque minaret, but there were no reports of casualties.
the quake's epicenter was located in the village of Pinaronu, some four kilometers from the Syrian border, Turkish media reported quoting the Kandilli Observatory Seismology Center.
The tremor rocked Pinaronu, located between the towns of Cizre and Silopi, the report added.
