Yongye Int'l Announces 2012 Annual Meeting Results

Yongye International Inc. (YONG: Quote) announced that at its 2012 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, shareholders approved the reelection of Zishen Wu, Nan Xu, Xiaochuan Guo, Sean Shao, Xindan Li and Rijun Zhang as members of the Board of Directors for a one-year term expiring at the 2013 annual meeting of shareholders.

Additionally, holders of the Company's Series A preferred shares reappointed Homer Sun as their designee to the Board of Directors and the Company's shareholders ratified the appointment of KPMG as the Company's independent auditors for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2012, Yongye said.
