Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. (CIDM) Thursday said its loss for the fourth quarter narrowed from last year, driven mainly by a double-digit growth in revenues and lower loss from discontinued operations, partially offset by higher operating expenses.
The Morristown, New Jersey-based company's fourth-quarter net loss attributable to common stockholders was $5.84 million or $0.15 per share, compared to $7.36 million or $0.23 per share last year.
For the quarter, loss from discontinued operations narrowed to $251 thousand from $2.46 million in the prior-year quarter.
Total revenues for the quarter grew 15.2 percent to $17.70 million from $15.36 million in the prior-year quarter.
For the quarter, total operating expenses increased to $16.22 million from $13.32 million last year.
Looking ahead, the company expects fiscal 2013 revenues in the range of $91 million to $97 million.
