"Terminator 2" star Robert Patrick has signed on to appear as a recurring character in upcoming episodes of HBO's "True Blood." He will guest star on the show in the role of Alcide's father Jackson Herveaux. According to hollywoodreporter.com he will first star in a flashback episode.
The first episode will reportedly feature Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and Debbie Pelt (Brit Morgan) as teenagers at a time when Jackson was a strong and heroic figure. Since then he has lost purpose in his life.
Patrick's first appearance on the show will occur in episode nine, which is titled "Everybody Wants to Rule the World." The episode is set to air on August 5 in "True Blood's" regular Sunday 9 p.m. time slot. Fans can also catch Patrick in the upcoming ABC drama "Last Resort."
