The US currency extended its previous session's weakness against the Canadian dollar in New York afternoon trading on Tuesday. The greenback slipped to near a 1-month low of 1.0169 versus the loonie at around 2:00 pm ET, which may be compared to Monday's closing value of 1.0245. Presently, the pair is worth 1.0176.
