Jennifer Hudson is the latest celebrity to make the transition into the fashion world, as the singer/actress/Weight Watchers spokeswoman will debut her new fashion line, the Jennifer Hudson Collection, exclusively on QVC beginning September 10.
"I feel like I represent every woman," Hudson said of the new line. "I've been on both sides of the fence. I've been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it. But I wanted the clothes to be where any girl could wear it — no matter what size you are — and you could feel comfortable in it."
Pieces range from a $50 pair of pull-on ponte leggings with trapunto quilting over the knees to a sheer $75 maxi skirt. Prices cap at $170, for outerwear. Hudson swears that "every single piece is something she would wear herself."
