Superior Uniform Group, Inc. (SGC), an uniforms and image apparels provider, said Thursday that its Chairman Gerald Benstock will be stepping down from the position, effective June 30. He will, however, continue to serve as a director for his remaining term.
Superior Uniform has named Sidney Kirschner, the lead independent director of the company, as new Chairman
Kirschner has worked as Executive Vice President of Piedmont Healthcare, President and CEO of Piedmont Health Institute, Chairman and CEO of Northside Hospital, Inc., and Chairman, President and CEO of National Service Industries, Inc.
The company noted that Gerald Benstock does not intend to stand for re-election to the board at the next annual meeting of stockholders.
