Jim Carrey has reportedly pulled out of the upcoming "Dumb and Dumber" sequel. According to ew.com, the comic has pulled out citing frustration with Warner Brothers for lack of development and enthusiasm about the project.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Carrey is in disbelief that the studio would drag their feet on a sequel to his classic comedy with Jeff Daniels:

"I would have thought Dumb and Dumber Two was a no-brainer," Carrey said in a statement. "After all it's implied in the title."

The Farrelly brothers, revealed news of the film while promoting their "Three Stooges" film earlier this year, saying:

"We're getting set to shoot 'Dumb and Dumber 2' in September," Peter Farrelly said. "It's the first sequel we've ever done and we've got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back."
