The US dollar extended its previous session's uptrend against major European currencies in New York afternoon deals on Thursday. The greenback is presently trading near new multi-day highs of 1.2531 against the euro, 0.9586 versus the Swiss franc and 1.5580 against the British pound from yesterday's close of 1.2708, 0.9454 and 1.5719, respectively.
