Jessica Capshaw and Christopher Gavigan welcomed their third child, Poppy James Gavigan, into the world on Wednesday, June 20.
"Our hearts are just bursting with love and gratitude upon the arrival of our baby girl," the couple told People.
"I don't really think about what the challenges are going to be," the "Grey's Anatomy" actress noted a couple months ago. "For me, it's not about the challenges."
"I keep thinking about how lucky we are. For some reason, even with the third one, it really never, ever is lost on me that every single baby is a miracle . . . I feel so lucky to be pregnant for a third time," she added.
Poppy James joins her siblings Eve Augusta, 20 months, and Luke Hudson, 4.
