Mariah Carey has her fans at the edge of their seats after teasing the release of her new album this summer, dropping hints via her Twitter page.
"So . . Summer 2012 . . Been in the lab, mixing up some concoctions for you, hope you like it!! #MCSummer2012," she tweeted along with an image that reads: "MC: Summer 2012."
While details for the new project are scarce, the singer has been in the studio with Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, DJ Clue and Randy Jackson working on new music.
Husband Nick Cannon has also confirmed that his wife is hard at work on her first new record since 2009's Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel.
"She's rejuvenated and ready to start sharing some of the amazing new music she has been making in the studio," he said.
