After-market Movers For June 25 (APOL, STX, CSTR, SNX)

Shares of Apollo Group, Inc. (APOL) gained more than 5% in after hours trading after the parent of the University of Phoenix reported better-than-expected third quarter profit.

Seagate Technology plc (STX) shares rose more than 4% in extended hours trading after S&P Indices, a brand of the McGraw-Hill Companies Inc. (MHP), said Seagate will replace Progress Energy, Inc. (PGN) in the S&P 500 index after the close of trading on Friday, June 29.

Shares of Coinstar, Inc. (CSTR) slumped more than 4% in late trading after the operator of self-service movie-rental and coin-counting kiosks said it expects to take a $0.40 to $0.50 per share hit to 2012 earnings from continuing operations in connection with its newly completed acquisition of certain assets of NCR Corp.'s (NCR) self-service entertainment DVD kiosk business.

SYNNEX Corp. (SNX) shares fell more than 2% in after hours trading after business process outsourcing services provider forecast third quarter revenue and earnings below analysts' current consensus estimates.
