The Japanese yen advanced against other major currencies in early European deals on Tuesday.
The yen is now trading at a 6-day high of 79.34 against the greenback, 2-week highs of 82.51 versus the franc and 99.05 against the euro.
Against the pound, the yen is now trading at 123.87, up from an early low of 124.48.
