Jena Malone is under consideration for the role of Johanna Mason for "The Hunger Games" sequel, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," according to a report from Entertainment Weekly.
Mason is a former "Hunger Games" victor from District 7, who won by pretending to be weak and then slaughtering the other combatants.
Malone most recently starred in the History Channel special, "Hatfields & McCoys."
Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are expected to reprise their roles as triumphant heroes Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark in the film from Francis Lawrence ("Water for Elephants").
Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson have also signed on for the next film, which is scheduled for release in November 2013. Philip Seymour Hoffman has been rumored to be in talks for the role of Plutarch Heavensbee.
