Courtney Love Sued By Former Lawyers

Courtney Love is getting sued for over $450,000 by her former attorneys. The firm of Keith A. Fink & Associates are demanding that the singer pay her outstanding fees for the legal counsel they provided the singer for a number of law suits back in 2009.

Her former lawyers filed the suit in Los Angeles, stating that she still hasn't paid the $518,640.66 worth of attorney's fees that she racked up during 14 legal cases that occurred between January and October in 2009.

According to TMZ, the company claims that the Hole frontwoman sent "gifts, thank-you notes, flowers, tickets to concerts" to say thank you for their work, but added that most of her checks bounced. They are now seeking $466,029.41 in back payments and late fees as well as punitive damages.

Love's representative Steve Honig told TMZ.com, however: "Courtney has not been served with anything, so as far as we're concerned there is no lawsuit. Additionally, Keith has not been her attorney for many years, so it's a bit odd that this would surface now."
